Ok today we talked about copyright laws in BTT01. There are multiple ways that you can get in trouble and/or get sued using external files in your podcast. For example, Person A recorded a song and has the rights to it. Person B says that it was okay with Person A for you to use that song in your podcast. However Person A really did not, and Person A becomes upset and takes you to court. Another thin is that you really don't want to mess with big music companies, because Mr.Case said that they have the money to hire many more lawyers than an average person could afford. In the end, you really have to read copyright contracts right and judge on whether the source that gave you rights to a song/beat is viable.
